B-17G Flying Survivors Skinpack

Out of over 12,000 B-17s built, there are only about a dozen left today in flying condition. Nearly all of these are late B-17G models that were bought and used for other purposes like photography, mapping and fire fighting. This pack includes most of the surviving planes that have flown in the past several years. Unfortunately, a few of them like "Pink Lady", "Miss Angela" and "Shady Lady" have been grounded.

As privately owned planes flying on the airshow circuit they are much better kept than their bretheren that served in the front lines during WWII, so weathering has been kept to a minimum. The markings on some of these planes has slowly changed over the years. With the exception of "Sally B" I have tried to make a single representative skin. "Sally B" gets two skins since her markings changed so drastically. She is also missing her trademark single checkered cowling as this is not possible to re-create on the IL2 B-17 model.
