PBJ-1 Generic Skinpack

Before and durnig WWII, the USMC typically got hand-me-down aircraft from the US Navy. Although USMC leaders had been asking for thier own bombers for some years, it was not until after the fighting on Guadalcanal in 1942/43 that the Navy brass understood the Marines could not always count on Navy carriers to provide air support. As long range was a major consideration, the USAAF's B-25 was selected for use by the new USMC patrol bombing squadrons. Using the USN dsignation system, these planes were known as "PBJ-1"s in USMC service (P=Patrol, B=Bomber, J=North American Aviation, -1=NAA's fist patrol bomber design adopted by the USN).

There were equivlanet PBJ-1 models for every B-25 version from the B-25C and later.
Model	# of planes delivered
PBJ-1C 50
PBJ-1D 152
PBJ-1G 1
PBJ-1H 248
PBJ-1J 255

This is an assorment of some generic skins for the B-25/PBJ-1 mods. The PBJ-1D skins are intended for use with the B-25D-5 mod and the PBJ-1J"s" skins are for the B-25J-22 solid nose mod aircraft.

These skins were made from my own template, which is based on the original void. It includes some internal parts made by Buhli.
