Bf 109K-4, Yak 3 skins by Emel, November 2012.

Twin Pack No 10 - Batz vs Fedorov.

1. Yak-3, 'White 100', flown by Capt. V. I. Fedorov of 812 IAP, 3 IAK, Spring 1945.*

2. Bf 109K-4, W.Nr.(?), 'Black Chevron 1 and Bar', flown by Major Wilhelm Batz, Gruppenadjutant of II/JG 52, Neubiberg (?), May 1945.**

*The only late war 812 IAP Yak-3 I've been able to track down so far.

**This version of Batz's K-4 is based on a color profile depiction from the Planes and pilots series. I consider it an interpretation rather than an accurate historical camouflage scheme, although the colors themselves should be historical (RLM 81,83,84, 74, 75, 76). I'm not sure if the wings actually wore the 'grey colors' at all. An interpretation only :)

Slip the BMP files into their proper folders in your Il-2 Sturmovik/Paintschemes/Skins folder. The skins should work the next time you start the game.

The templates were redrawn from the void files.

The mechanical layer for the Me 109 by Fly By Shooter and Jesters Ink. And for the Yak by Winger 69 and Canon UK.

Many thanks.
