Over the last few weeks, we have experienced some difficult issues. These have been painful times for us as a community, as we were forced to say goodbye to one of our founding members. I would like to ask everyone who has been part of this adventure we call 'Axis and Allies Paintworks' to thank Rock for his contributions to the site over the last few years. Regardless of personal knowledge that may have spilled out onto the public forums, please respect our wishes to not discuss these issues any further. It is a done deal.

With that being said, we are leaving the past behind and moving forward. Over the next few weeks, our members will see a change in the direction of the website. Not to worry though...it's nothing drastic.

We will still maintain our high quality standard of graphical excellence, we will still provide the ONLY website where individuals can download skins WITHOUT having to register for advertising dollars, our contributors will still have full control of their own individual files, and we will expand our repertoire to include the best campaigns by the very best campaign builders for the IL2 family of sims. All research and information collected by our staff will be accessible to any persons with an interest in aviation history...

In other words, NOTHING IS GOING TO CHANGE. We are still the same awesome website you've grown to know and love, just without the 'old baggage'.

So, what's going to change?
