Level 1Fantastic vid...The Corsair is my favorite WWII fighter...thanks for sharing... I think the Beaufighter was called the "Chug-a-Lug" or something...:)

10 years agoMain AdminThe Japanese named the Corsair " The Whistling Death", this was the noise it made in dive bombing/strafing etc
They named the Beau the " Whispering Death" as you were already under attack before you heard it.(Fast & at low level)
