Level 6Not a skin request, but a reference request, which I don't know where to post. Anyway, I'm making a skin for this guy at M4T of his friend's father's B-26, which was from the 450th Bombardment Squadron, 322nd Bombardment Group and called " Things to Come". I've been looking all over and, as much as I try, I can find no record of such plane. Someone found the noseart, but the tail number and code still have to be discovered. I did manage to find a lot of B-26s from the same unit, but not it. So I thought maybe someone over here could help, since you guys seem to be best at finding historical info.
To recap, 450th Bombardment Squadron, 322nd Bombardment Group (Medium), 9th Air Force, "Things To Come", pilot Frank W. Joslin. -
AdminI work with the son of 1Lt Edward V. Munge, who flew 41-31897 ER-A "Invictus" with the same squadron, so I've done a little research on this before. His dad was forced down in the Normandy beachhead on D-Day+1. Neat story; I have a copy of his MACR and everything. Unfortunately, I don't seem to have any information on the a/c you're looking for.

10 years agoMain AdminI spent a couple of hours going through all my contacts etc.
The aircraft, & the pilot are bringing up a blank ????????
Is the original info correct.

Level 6Duggy, I can't vouch for anything. It was a request by a guy whose friend's dad flew the plane. The is probably correct, but that's about all that can be found so far, and the Joslin has Alzheimer's, so he can't provide any more info. Jarink, I am very interested in hearing about that. Also, can you send me a link to your templates? My old PC is dead, and I had them all saved in it.

Level 6She does look nice...Which reminds me, I should do some tweaks to the Marauder template. Add the wavy lines as an option, maybe add a mask. I might do I skin for it, as the guy canceled the request (The only info was in Joslin's brain, and his alzheimer's got really bad. Now he can't even remember there was a war, poor guy).
