Are the screenshots all from career mode?

Yes they are.

I have to admit, I haven't flown more than four or five career missions. They are not that great, compared to scripted missions. That was also a problem in Rise of Flight that used the same career system. It's too bad, because the rest of the career mode, having news, awards, promotions and squadron management, is quite well done.

The career missions are OK, but do need more action, especially "ground pounding". That was the best thing about IL-2 46, all the Third party add-ons that greatly enhanced off line play, and not forgetting all the mission builders in the community who contributed so much free work.
