7 years agoThank you to take time, i really feel silly
Here we go:
1) After you've saved your skin for the first time, open both the skin and the template file in Photoshop. When opening the skin, select "Load using default size".
2) Now open the Photoshop menu/window showing the channels. When the template file is selected, you should see the RGB channels and a channel with the name Alpha 1.
3) Select the Alpha 1 channel and just drag it over to you skin. Now it should appear in the channel list of your skin.
> Problem begins: when I drag it to the saved skin channel, ii doesn't appear as alpha but as a layer.

7 years agoSat Feb 25 2017, 10:35amIt's ok now !!
I've created a new alpha in saved skin.dds to drag over the alpha1 channel.
Thank you Juri !! -

AdminFrom which unit are the skins?
-
7 years ago161 IAP ... is a fictionnal unit. I want to paint a whole squadron or several planes with the same markings and i don't have any documentation with such number of planes.
There was a unit with the same yellow tail, It was the 31 IAP. -
AdminThere are profils showing Migs of the 34th IAP with similar paint schemes, so I thought your skins were for a real unit.

7 years agoMon Feb 27 2017, 05:52pmI only know the 54. Do you I have a link if there are other planes plz or it's in a book ?

7 years agoMon Feb 27 2017, 07:15pmAdminTwo profils can be found here:
http://wp.scn.ru/en/ww2/f/457/1/10
And a photo can be found on this site:
http://massimotessitori.altervista.org/sovietwarplanes/pages/mig3/white54.html
The first page says the Mig is from the 34th IAP, as far as I know, this is a PVO unit. According to the second page the Mig is from the 6th IAP of the 7 IAD of the Pacific Fleet. I am not completely sure which information is correct, but the paint schemes is unusual for a PVO Mig and I've seen other aircraft in the Russian Far East with similar camo, so it might indeed be from the Pacific Fleet. -
