Thx guys, from time to time i?m jumping in here ... yesterday i?ve purchased Il2 Battle of Bodenplatte, bought a new joystick - have to reinstall my TrackIR and have to become familiar again with the "new" Il2 and stuff.
Didn?t use photoshop for years, but a good Fw 190 Dora skin would be interesting

Anyway, wishing a merry Christmas to you all.

Nice to see you pop in Detlef; I've been an occasional lurker for some time now. It's nice to see a member from the original A&A crew again, so I had to say "Hello".

I hope everyone is doing well. I see the site is still cranking out some top-notch artwork, so congrats to you all for keeping the dream alive. Well Done!

I still have Istvan's versions of IL2 '46 and 1916 on my hard drive, but I've been focused on Train Simulator 2020 (over at Railworks America) since I quit skinning airplanes. I grew up next to the RR tracks, so I've been painting a lot of the rail equipment I saw as a youth, and reconstructing a portion of the route which ran through my hometown. Like Detlef, I just purchased Bodenplatte, so lately I've been enjoying the new planes and scenery. If it were not for my route project, which will likely take a couple of years to finish, I'd be tempted to start skinning planes again. But for now, I'm content to leave that job to the pros, and enjoy what they share with the community (Thanks!).

For those not familiar with TS2020, here's a sample of one of my paintjobs:
