Concerning the colors I am not completely sure. It's almost certainly a RLM 74/75 camo. The problem is, that opinions on the exact tone of RLM 74 vary widely. It's described as green/grey, but was it more green or more grey? I think in the end the artist has to decide for himself. When I create skins I usually use a more greyish RLM 74.

If there's a third color it's probably blotches of RLM 70 (black-green). Apparently many scale modellers use RLM 70 blotches when doing the famous Bf-109 G6 of Barkhorn, that was photographed at Bagerovo airfield.

Do you know what the reason is, why 15./JG 52 had aircraft numbers in different colors? Usually a Staffel should only use one color (white, black, etc.). Are these aircraft handed over by other units?

I asked myself the same question but did not find the answers in my documentation. G6s have a white, black, red or green number. Others still have the factory registration after several missions.
