Stealth bomber looks kinda spooky, alien. Nice pics again.

edit: oops! Just checked what spooky means. Wrong word there, sorry. Didn't mean "spooky", but unusual, or strange, not of this earth.

Spooky is an excellent description of a B-2, as it is a "Ghost".

I just read that the USAF is implementing some electronic upgrades to the B-52 fleet that will keep most of them in service through 2040. Quite an accomplishment for a plane that entered service in 1952. Personally, I think they need to keep at least one in active service until 2052.

This is the "Kopp-Etchell Effect", named for two fallen soldiers in Afghanistan (one American, one British). I remember seeing this effect at the NTC (National Training Center) back in the early '90s. It's really cool looking at it with NVGs.
