11 years agoAdminSteven, nice Avia pics, but just so everyone knows I did not screw up the panel lines and serial numbers on my template.. the skins in your B-534 Type IV screenshots are for the open cockpit Type III, so that's why they don't fit properly on the Type IV. The panel lines around the upper fuselage around tail, and fuselage ribs were aligned especially to fit the type III). The first aid symbol on the starboard side is incorrect, so I'll need to go back and re-do the skin pack some day; although my more recent Avia's have been corrected to the portside only.
Above is an example of a proper Type III skin on the Ramwers' model it was mapped for (note the alignment of the fuselage ribs). The are no shadows from the tail and wings on this one, due to the mapping of the model. I was lucky enough to do some tricks with the panel lines, but the shadows were simply too big. And those ugly wheels are before Jero did his magic.. just goes to show how lucky we are to have modders like Jeronimo working on the 3D.
And above are Bk-534 skins, which are especially mapped for Soupa's model. These are unique to the model also, especially with the blast channels. I managed to keep the full shadow effects on this one.
And finally, the default Type IV with skin mapped accordingly (note the uniform angle of fuselage ribs).
Also Steven, a favor, if I might ask.. could you please post your pics in a smaller format? ..or maybe link to larger images for wallpapers? It would greatly reduce the page loading times. Thanks very much for your assistance, and please keep the pics coming

@Steven: Every time i?m thinking your pics are so good that it can?t be better done you are posting better pics again - many thx for your artwork; i?ve tried to create some on my own, but i can?t do it in this quality -
11 years agoMain AdminPlease post the photos in 1024 x 768 this is the standard size on the majority of forums.
This does not affect the quality, & they can still be used as wallpapers, just right click And set as desktop background.
This also allows for far faster loading times for all our members.
The best free program for this is IrfanView.
