Nice shots Detlef. Just curious; I'm in the middle of a big transition phase right now, trying to decide on what to keep as my defacto installation.. I'm one of those monogamous type guys, so I'd rather have only one installation to care for.. and I'm not very keen on those multi-version installations either; more parts, equals more to go wrong IMO. Right now I'm debating upon the installation of HSFX (again) or sticking with 412.1/ModAct5.2. I really like having an installation with only my own preferences installed, but it's a royal pain sorting though all the mods and the frequent compatibility issues. And currently, getting a good visual-effects set-up is my main focus. I think the smoke in that harbor/city pic is really nice, so I'm wondering what you are using to achieve that effect? It almost appears as if you are using Gurner's distance mod, but the smoke seems to be a bit more "multi-shaded" than what I've seen before. Sorry for such a long-winded question, but I guess that illustrates my quest for some decent effects that are 412-compatable

Yes the pics are great and the explosion and smoke columns are really impressive.

Thx guys, i?m using HSFX 6 with some few additional mods like gurners FX - together with HSFX 6 i don?t have a large impact on FPS from gurners mod.
I?m now waiting for HSFX 7 with Il2 4.12 which is not too far away, according to the comments in 242 Sqdn Forum. -
