Interestingly, the duralumin frames of both the Graf Zeppelin and the Graf Zeppelin II (LZ 130) were eventually melted down and used to produce Luftwaffe planes for the war effort. So there's always a chance that some of today's museum displays and flying examples, contain a bit of these giant airships in their framework. A "ghost in the machine", so to speak.

Makes one wonder what other historical 'donors' might be contained in our cars, and everyday metal objects.
