Level 2Hi.
Belive many or some of you are to visit this year Flying Legends 12-13/7 at Duxford UK.
For 10 yeras now I have been one of the spectators from Norway. Im a big fan of this event.
Just would like to know how many of you are to pay a visit, and if there is a chanse to meet any
of you. I would be very fun to shake hands and meet a A&A Paintworks member in real life.
Are there any favorit stands, hangars or any other place you use to hang around, name it here and
I for soure will keep an eye on it.
Also have an idea on how to find out you are a member of A&A Paintworks.
If all the skinners that have their skinns presented in the "A&A Paintwork site banners" allow it.
I would lik to put one or 2 of my favorit banner on a t-shirt. One on front and one on the back of it.
Maby together with my callsign: Odin1one.
Again only if this is confirmed accepted here at A&A Paintworks.
What do yoy think?

Level 2Hey matey,
i will be going on the Sunday with my partner and little daughter. I havn't been to a duxford airshow for quite a while. My father used to go regularly (was invited by Duxford) as he was a WW2 vet and set up a table signing autographs and telling stories. I am also meeting a good friend of mine who is a 56th FG USAAF expert and has a massive foto collection of the 56th.
There should be a stand there of `Fighting High Publishing' which is the publisher of the future biography of my father so there is a few reasons for me to go (apart from the obvious of seeing and hearing all those warbirds).
so maybe we can meet up for a chat

Hi Krys / Boelcke
Nice to here you'l vist Flying Legends Krys, Most intresting readings about your father and future biography.
Im visiting the FL-show both Saturday and Sunday. As mentioned, I will try to have a T-shirt with A&A-banner motives on it.
Now with accept from Boelcke "Thank's Boelcke" I probably use some of the banners with his skinn's. An image of my t-shirt will be posted her later on. I will for sure visit the stand you pointing out, and realy hope to find you and/or any other A&A members that have their travelingrute and target set for this greate event..
Best Regards.

11 years agoAdminI've been there in 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2004. Now it's time again .
However it will only be for one of the days, and haven't decided which one yet.
They haven't posted any flight programs but hope they will before June 20th. -
11 years agoMon May 06 2013, 06:05pmLevel 2Hi Loke!
I look at your Avatar and see your locasion is Bornholm. Denmark I belive?
I,m from Fredrikstad Norway. My experience from Duxford! They have the same program both days, if no mecanical failiur prevent an AC to fly one of the day's. Hope we meet!! That for you to "Krys"

11 years agoAdminYup, Bornholm, Baltic Sea .
As for the Spitfire in the avatar. It was flown by the father of RAF_Bip, a Norwegian chap who used to fly in our group RAF662. Well he was half English (father), half Norwegian (mother).
Not always the 100% same program. Some planes might only be there one day only. I have missed the PBY and Lancaster before because of it.
But I will let you know which day I decide for.
Maybe A&A should have made a t-shirt that we could wear for the occasion?!
-
Level 2I would be up for promotional T-shirt wearing, if they did them in small sizes I would put my 16 month old girl in one as well (she always looked wicked in her MotoGP T shirt I got her from Silverstone last year!!
Go Rossi!!!!! -
Level 2As mentioned in my post earlier. I'm thinking about to make one t-shirt for my-self. However if A&A make some to order I'm for shure would like to bye me a couple or more.
