12 years agoSun Apr 01 2012, 08:25pmLevel 1Well, Most of you who've known me for a while will know that I play guitar. I recently acquired an external soundcard to allow me to record music to a high standard. I finally got to try it out and I thought I would share the end result. Here's an attempt at "Sweet Child O' Mine" by Guns 'N' Roses:

Level 1Another good one, so you are into a wide variety of historic stuff!
NINETEEN guitars! - I have four. The maths works though, I'd be just under 20% as good as you! -
Level 1xD Cheers mate, I'm a huge Classic Rock fan.
Recorded a couple more over the last few days:
Queen - "I want it all": http://fandalism.com/robbrindley/T9f
Rainbow - "Since you've been gone": http://fandalism.com/robbrindley/T3u -
AdminCool stuff, Rob. Even my kids like it!

12 years agoTue Apr 17 2012, 11:26pmLevel 1Rainbow was 1979 and growing up with this stuff on the radio caused it to be absorbed by the teenage brain and become part of conciousness. Good music still comes around but nothing ever sounds quite so good as then.
Good as life is now, hearing that riff cuts straight to the dormant teenager within and re-activates it!
The fact that your cover has the same power speaks volumes.
I agree with Garry: "Hope to hear some original songs soon!"
