I'll go with dark blue. To me it looks better with the roundels than black.

I think I should tell what I am doing at the moment and why I asked for the skin. For my own amusement I am researching the air war over Malaya and Singapore in late 1944 and 1945, really one of the forgotten episodes of WW2. I am using the collected information for building a number of historical missions. One of them is a Mosquito intercept mission over Singapore.

Here are some grabs of the current situation with the Aluminum dope Mosquito. This is the fully repainted Mosquito version. I have the colors pretty much ready. I think the light is reflecting nicely from the aircraft. But there are some problem areas that need more time.

Looks very good. Take your time, there is no need to hurry. At the moment I am still waiting for information by some Japanese plane experts, that will be very usuful to make the missions I am building more historical accurate.
