Freddy has nearly completed his 3D D520 cockpit (on the right panel, compressor and radio to be completed)
He started with a blank page, late october, working with 3DS Max and PhotoShop, this cockpit is 3D (no TGAs) and will be fully functionnal like in real life (buttons, levers, switches etc ...) through the mapping of your keyboard and/or joystick.
You won't be able to start the engine with the "I" key, no sir, you'll have to apply real life start up sequence (same with his G Bf109 series) ...
Nothing's missing, not even the stiches in the leather of the seat and map holder, Freddy is the best cockpit tailor ...!

Level 6Out of curiosity, what is the real sequence? I saw one of those 1944 "How to fly (Insert aircraft name here)" video, but it still confuses me a little. Is it magnetos, then starter then prime 1 to 3 times if cold, 5 to 7 if hot?

10 years agoMain AdminNot sure on the exact sequence (probably find one on You Tube)
But regarding the 109 here's a great link.

... I don't know, because Freddy hasn't yet implemented the sequence in the game code, he first wants to complete the cockpit ...
