10 years agoMain AdminThe American Airpower Museum in England has now published the Roger Freeman Collection online, in glorious high quality. Over 5,000 images covering 8th AF operations in England from 1942 through 1945.

10 years agoThu Oct 02 2014, 12:12amMain AdminI know "photo of the week" will be coming from here for quite a while.
The funny thing is they have only got through half of the archives.
Still about 5000 photo's to update.
Although I must be honest to say that I have had access to these for a long time.

Level 1Duggy, you never cease to amaze me! For once, I'm glad (in a weird sorta way) that I'm disabled and not working, just so I can go through the great photos thatr you always seem to be able to find. I really like that this collection is not only about combat, but also shows what England was like during the war. To see people strolling about near Big Ben, as if there was no war, is an interesting look at the history of the time.
And I'm only on the 2nd page!
Thanks a million for sharing this, Duggy. You're one of my heroes.
