Christopher and Rob got me into Skype, something that had not occurred to me previously. What a fantastic thing though! I currently don't have a webcam on my main machine, but that's no obstacle. In fact talking without a cam works just as well and still allows you to do all sorts of stuff.

For example, sharing files, exchanging pics, skin ideas, missions, mods and so on. Some discipline is required because its so much fun that the time whizzes by. I just wanted to thank RDDR and Rock particularly and encourage everyone here to get hooked up so that we can talk in real-time occasionally.

I don't honestly know mate. The program is free to download and install. We have an unlimited broadband plan and pay a fixed fee each month that includes the phone, internet and mobile. Skype incures us no additional charges, so it effectively provides free calls to other Skype users. A limited usage plan would still probably work OK, you aren't downloading anything more after all.
