Hi all,
I decided it would be nice for me to have one thread where I could post my projects and other things I'm working on...
Life has been a little crazy recently; lots of big things happening and big (read "possibly life-changing") decisions being made, some good, some not so much. As such, skinning has once again taken a backseat. However, I have had a spare hour here and there to tinker with stuff. I've been toying with making templates for some of the new (ish) Japanese mod planes, but references are scarce (particularly regarding rivet patterns) and the mapping on most of them leaves a lot to be desired, and I don't have the patience to be lining everything up. As such, I've recently been revisiting some of my old templates and getting them back up to speed, since I was never really satisfied with them in the first place... so far, I've got:
I've also got the Ki-43s to consider, so I've got more than enough to work on!
I'll post a few more later on this week- hopefully now that things are relatively calm, I'll be able to get some skins finished, for once!
As always, questions, critiques, and comments are always more than welcome!

Good to see you back in action.
A big improvement compared to the previous versions of the skins. Especially the weathering looks much better.

Thanks Juri! I put a lot of effort into improving the "texture" of the skins, especially the Vals and Jills, so it's good to know it's noticeable!
As of the past few hours, I've been on a bit of a tear with the Kate- my hope is that I can put together skinpacks for each of the carriers involved in the Pearl Harbor attack. I might even do some Vals to go along with them, and make a whole set for the bombers of December 7th!
My sources show some of the Kates in pretty roughly applied camo, so that's how I've depicted them. However, I haven't found any photos to back this up, so I'm still looking for some references.

Just one small comment .....Try out the the Screenshot Prop V1.1 Mod over at SAS. I think you might like it.

By the way have you ever made any skins for the N1K1-J and N1k1-Ja? Some time ago I was looking for good generic skins for these planes, but without success.
