Hi guys,
Things have been rather quiet on the skinning front as it's the pre-christmas silly season at work so I've had bugger all time for skinning. What time I have given to skinning has been directed at an RAAF P-40 which has been "interesting" due to how the codes on the fuselage are effected by the model's warping! However I feel I've reached a fair comprimise with that and as I won't have time to do more skins for the pack (as I had originally planned) I'll upload these four (plus unmarked and blank versions) this weekend.

This weekend I've been working on making a bare metal version of the N with a view to making some more skins, both painted and bare. I've done bare metal for other aircraft in the past but for some reason it has been a lot more work for this a/c, however I feel I've made a reasonable go of it. The following shots are w.i.p but there are only some small corrections to be made on the underside and canopy. The upper cowl and spinner aren't great but they'll be painted anyway so it shouldn't be a problem.

Cheers guys. I'd made the small corrections I mentioned before and started working on a fully marked skin then realized I had completely missed creating some important hatches on the port wing root! I'll work on those tonight and hopefully it should be quick.
@Alan, out of interest do have any good photos of 49th FG P-40Ns, both painted and bare metal? I have one good photo of a bare metal bird (black 34) but other than that the photos I have are partials e.g. just the nose or just the tail, not really enough for an accurate fully marked skin although I can make do and just warn users that the 49th skins contain a fair bit of guess work.
