For Up/DBW version 1.3 is the latest one. Atm i don?t develope any more stuff for DBW, only for HSFX and Il2 stock, because the AI of IL2 4.11 is way better for offline campaigns than the AI from 4.10. I can recommend it.

Asura is developing a mod version of dgen.exe and i?m in the process to create some new campaigns with new maps

I have the greatest respect for you modders, you have taken a great stock game and made it utterly superb..!
Also, having a father that was a fighter pilot in some of the campaigns available as well as having his personal thunderbolts skinned as well that just about tops it!!
anyway, a quick question, I am running 4.10.01 with UP3 etc with DBW, is it safe / easy to upgrade to 4.11? is it compatible?
your advice would be appreciated

no, not recommended

install a clean Il2 and patch it up to 4.11 - anything else is wasted time. the best way is to do this and backup this clean il2 in another folder, so you have always a base which you can use if you have problems with your install

I have serveral copies of Il2 on my HD, one clean Il2 Vers. 4.10, two Il2?s with UP/DBW clean and with mods added and one Il2 4.11 + HSFX 6. When Il2 4.12 is released i will simply add another copy from my Il2 4.10 stock installation and patch it to 4.12.

thats good advice, I have got backups ready to go of a clean install up tp 4.10.1 so i can use that. i also backed up my UP3 then installed Dbw and backed taht up as well.
thanks for the advice, thats what I'll do. Does your westfront run on the 4.11.1 without UP3 etc. if not which nice long campaigns would you recommend for it

Westfront needs HSFX 6, without it you don?t have a historic plane set for it - Defense of the Reich is available for stock 4.11 and also a version for HSFX 6

can you post up a link to defence of the reich for the stock 4.11 installation.
