Hi, back again. I have got the campaign working in general, thanks for your help. However I have a problem loading the RAF BoB channel scenarios....I get the following error message on the loading screen.

"mission loading failed: Mesh 3do/humans/paratroopers/russian/mono.sim not created"

This comes up during the 30% 'loading aircraft'

Any further help would be much appreciated thank you.

Back again needing tech help.

When creating a campaign for a USAAF fighter pilot, I got an error on mission load: "Landscape DRK_Circus/load.ini loading error."

In addition, the map did not show up in the mission briefing. The map showed up the next time, but upon loading to a full 100%, the game crashed. I looked in the error report for Asura's dgenmod, but there was nothing there.

When I looked in the mission files to see if I had everything installed correctly, I searched for "DRK" and came up with these three files:

DRK_CircusAF.dat
DRK_CircusBR.dat
DRK_CircusTowns.dat

I looked in my mod backup folder to see if I was missing a file, but I could not find DRK_Circus.

UPDATE: It loaded, but the map was so screwed up and obviously corrupted. All planes exploded on the ground, and textures appeared pixellated, blocky and distorted like they were only half there.

So, where do I go from here? It looks like the files didn't install correctly. Should I try to overwrite the messed up files with the old ones in my mod backup folder?

Is this an issue with Asuras Dgen.exe or the campaign?

It's been a week since I first posted this. I want to know what's going on before I try anything. Anyone?

updated the campaign to part 3, check post one

I'm running IL-2 4.12.1. Do I need to do anything else besides install the auto-updater?

You need this, to install in the following order:

1) Il2 4.12
2) HSFX 7
3) update to HSFX 7.03

then

4) Asuras dgen.exe mod
5) database files for Asuras mod
6) campaign files and skins

Sorry, I'm new to modding IL-2, so expect a lot more questions.

I already have Asura's dgen.exe and his files as well as your campaign (version1.1). Do I have to uninstall these to update to 7.03?

no, go on with this, but update the campaign with the new version and the new version of the database files for Asuras mod - just copy the new files into the \DGEN and the \DGEN\MOD folder and overwrite the old ones
