These aircraft were called CA-20.The modifications included the removal of all offensive and defensive armament including the bomb bay. The interior of the aircraft was then modified with a compartment for passengers. On some aircraft, windows were installed in the fuselage and used as staff transports.
Some of these remained in service until the 60's.




Howard Hughes had one and it still survives too this day.
