On September 23, 1953,AD-4B BuNo 132354 from the USS Bennington and flown by James Elster,due to fog had to land on HMCS Magnificent.
As an old Navy tradition,for landing on the wrong ship the aircraft received some additional markings!
In good Canadian humor,a Maple leaf was added, and the pilot got a moose to carry back to the Bennington.
