This hopefully tells us that most of this can be done. Not sure about the engine ,however I do believe both canopy and hatch door could be possible.
Harry, if I were you I would try to find out which Spit or Spits had a movable Hatch. I could be wrong about all of this,but I don't
think so.
Let me look as well, and I'll post what I'm able to find out.

AdminI'll take a look through my books but off the top of my head I believe all Spits and Seafires had the small cockpit door except those that had pressurised cockpits (HF VI, VII, PR X and most XIXs).
As for the hatches on the fuselage, the ones I have "open" in my previous post were actually hinged to open upwards however as they'd stick up well beyong the top of the fuselage I used some artistic licence and removed them completely -
