12 years agoMon Jul 02 2012, 08:13amAdminExperimenting with my first winter camouflaged Ju52 of I./KGzbV172 which served at Stalingrad. I'm not quite satisfied now and there are of course still some glitches
to correct...

Level 7It's certainly coming along nicely. Always a big fan of worn out winter camouflage patterns.

Those skins are coming along nicely, I'm always very impressed by your research and attention to detail.
With regard to the new loadouts: I think 'Special agents' is a generic term for the loadout feature with fewer paratroopers. Its not exactly a covert aircraft but if there were scenarios with fewer paratroopers...
Anyway, the cargo drops are VERY good news for this aircraft and they work flawlessly. In test missions I used a RECON point to indicate the drop zone and require accurate flying. Using the new CY6 AIMPOINT object the AI can also perform very accurate drops, either of paratroops or cargo.
If you get your install to DBW 1.71, everything else will be a cinch to add with JSGME packs.

12 years agoSat Jul 14 2012, 12:44pmAdmin...some newer pics to see for those interested in how i get on with my work on winter camouflaged Ju52s. Not ready yet but soon - hopefully. Some weathering adjustments and corrections still have to be made. The bird is in the paintscheme of 2nd squadron of I./KGzbV172, a unit which served looking this way at the Demyansk, Cholm and Stalingrad airlifts.
The environment was built by myself on the stock stalingrad winter map and
mainly shows Pitomnik airbase, one of the last remaining in the Stalingrad pocket.
