According to the information at the BoS forum the trailer is in-game footage reworked with lots of CGI. So we have to wait a little longer till we know how the game will really look.

Nice vid, nice pictures, but wasn?t it the same with CloD before it was released? After this desaster i?m not very keen to sell another product from this company or developers before there is a clear reaction from the community about the real quality when available.

... but this is not at all the same team (it's a joint venture between 1C and 777, the ones who made RoF) and Luthier isn't part of it ...
But like you I'll wait for the first reviews, from game sites AND players ...
I am not especially in a hurry, since the game will be released with only about 8/10 planes and the winter version of the Stalingrad map ...

I don't doubt that the team can create a working simulator and I am sure we won't see a repeat of the CloD disaster, but some decisions of the developers are really strange. A few examples:
- Only the Bf-109F4 will be available for new players and the Bf-109G2 first needs to be unlocked in campaign mode. Although the G2 was much more numerous during the time of BoS and few F4 were still operated in the area. The same unlocking will be necessary for the Yak-1 and some aircraft modifications.
- The Fw-190 was added to the Premium Edition although it wasn't used at Stalingrad.
- There will be no German airfields left on the BoS map outside the Stalingrad pocket after December 1942, because the map doesn't go further to the west than Tatsinskaya. I wonder how this will affect the campaign mode.
- In my opinion the biggest problem is, that there will be no AI Ju-52. The Ju-52 is the symbol of the Stalingrad airlift, I can't imagine a battle of Stalingrad game without it. Moreover its absence will severely restrict the possiblities for historcially accurate mission building. -
... totally agree with you, the absence of Aunt Ju is very weird, to say the least ....
