I to hope they'll do the same as they did with RoF and release the layered templates.

Early access will start in a few days and the developers have released a video showing the test version of BoS. I wonder if one of our members has bought the premium edition and could share his first impressions with us when the early access starts.

If this is representing the final graphics i surely won't buy the game.

I would like to play a new WW2 flight Sim after all these years, but i?m not very interested in another desaster like Clod. RoF also took 3 years to get a decent offline campaign and i don?t like the buying of every single plane, so i?m very sceptical about all this teasering.

I must say I'm a bit excited about this game although, if I'm honest, I'm not inclined to get early access and act as a tester. I suspect I might wait until/if something like RoF's Iron Cross Edition is released.
I've seen other BoS vids were the graphics look great (the RoF engine isn't hyper realistic but it looks good and runs smoothly) but, and maybe this is just me, I think winter maps/landscapes/lighting tend to make things look flatter.

I am trying not to make any judgements before the full version of BoS gets released, although I find some of the decisions made by the developers problematic (see my post on the first page).

It would be nice to get some unbiased opinions here at A&A by people who take part in the early access (with lots of screenshots, please ).

Certainly it's going to the right direction. All in all, easily beats any Il-2 model; that much is clear
