Hi,

i tried to visit this great french Il-2 website but it looks it is down inbetween.
A pity because a lot of forgotten top skins (obelix, mcwan, tschaika and many more) were available there.

... looks like it is down, in fact it's been months since I last visited this rather "sleepy" site ...

Try here at C6 :

On the left Menu panel click on "T?l?chargements"

Then in the "Filtre" panel go to "cat?gorie" and in the window chose IL-2 FB AEP

Then in the "Type" window chose "skin"

i know Checksix, there aren't hosting the large number of files as france-simulation did.

Does anyone know how i can get in contact with Tschaika?

... I checked at C6, and last time he visited the place was in ... 2008 ...

I'll ask around me if somebody knows what became of him, may be he quit skinning ...

I Googled France Simulation and there appears to be a goodbye message, "The adventure has come to an end, the Forum will remain open for the next 12 days then farewell to every one.....", the link is sadly now dead. It will be a tragedy if the sites skin archive is lost , not only because of Tchaikas' skins but those of many others together with the excellent French IL2 missions that were available.

I see that on the Check Six forum a long standing forum member, Micksaf has put out a plea for Tchaika, or any one who has contact details for him, to contact Armin here.

I didn't get a single reply yet, but I am not too worried since in august most people are on holiday in France ...
