11 years agoWed Aug 21 2013, 09:39pmAdminHi all,
more than a year is gone now since i released my last skins (the MTO stukas) but i haven't been lazy or so but
a long, long research time was followed by making more than twenty new skinpacks - the next round of my Ju52
project.
The most of you know of my special dedication to the luftwaffe transport units.
Nearly finished it is an armada of around 270 skins, each pack containing between twelve and twenty individual skins or so. Some of them are replacing older packs due to updated research results. Where necessary extra skins or even extra skinpacks for the modded engine cowlings version.
New theatre is the eastern front with winter and summer skinpacks, but new MTO, early war and Crete campaign skinpacks as well. Chosen for their nice paintschemes or/and historical
involvement in action. I. e. the palm sunday massacre of the tunisian coast in april 1943, the Stalingrad campaign
and crete invasion units which suffered heaviest losses.
Some (o. k. a very lot of) screenshots of finished skins herewith, most taken in DBW because of the much enhanced gear/wheels and cowlings:
The following skinpack will be unique because some of the aircraft are skinned double for matching either the first or the second half of the time period ...
The two following skinpacks are a bit extraordinary because these units served at the eastern front and in the MTO in unaltered paintschemes...
These works are dedicated to all luftwaffe transport crewmen, especially those who lost their lifes when against all odds and left without any support trying to supply their struggling ground troops with the urgently needed.
Thanks a lot to the guys at Luftwaffe Experten Message Board, most of all to Gerhard Stemmer! His
expert knowledge isn't available in any books and made me realizing these works.
The packs will be uploaded one after another over the next weeks at axis and allies paintworks.
I hope you enjoy the skins and feedback is much appreciated.

AdminImpressive work.
Will you include generic versions of the skins? Yes, I know they are boring from an artistic point of view, but useful for mission/campaign builders.
