saw this today, a very nice addition to the game, atm it?s for Il2 4.09 and 4.10 only but they are still working on it to make it compatible with any game version

Awesome. Not many important WWII aircraft left to be modeled for Il-2 after this one. A welcome addition.

thanks, guys...glad ya like it. we'll have an update for it right after Christmas... with a few minor corrections and other additions. right now there's just 'too' much stuff going on, at the FM site 'and' in real life for the holidays.

Beo ? You SOB... I just put it together, dropped everything into the Air files, picked out a late night delivery skin and
most importantly treated her like a STOL and babied the flaps as she literally jumped into the air at about 60 to 90 yards Whoa!!.
All was fine, but the thing that blew me away was not the landing back home or the shut down but the opening forward and closing Canopy's . I almost wet myself. Who did that piece of work.Wow!
The retraction movement is brilliant. Whoever was responsible for it please give them a big thanks from me .Just thinkin that if that can be done,what about the Tiffy car door system..Ha!

haha! actually ton did the whole canopy setup for me. I got part of it working but my arthritis was tearing me up at that particular time and I asked ton to step in and give me a hand with the tricky stuff... he did and that tricky/dickey window is the result. it's actually like six or more canopy meshes controlled completely in java code. and nicely done too!
more and more as my body keeps failing I have to rely on my buds to help me out, and thank God they don't mind!
btw, really impressed with the look of the site here these days. you guys are doing great!
