10 years agoThu Jan 02 2014, 04:38pmLevel 1Skunk,
I hate to be the bearer of bad news so early in the year...just kidding but: The Typhoon Colors are not correct.I know. Shoot me.
. The colors for the Car Door and blown hood are off the mark.. What makes it a little more difficult is that over the years folks have
postered x number of RAF and Luftwaffe and even US color plates. For example there were 5 different Green and OD shades of
RAF and US Camos used and even more Greys in reality
The Temp that Emel is going to release once again has been very carefully investigated.
Lastly. I originally tried putting together Temps without a whole lot of success until Emel tapped me on the shoulder and said
"Were you looking for something like this? !Amazed
That happens a lot around here,
Happy New Year -
Level 1Sorry RDDR, I'm not sure I follow...? The colours I have used here are the same RAF colours that I have used for all my skins, Dark Green, Ocean Grey and Medium Sea Grey.

10 years agoThu Jan 02 2014, 12:33amLevel 1OK Skunk.I understand your irritation so lets try this.
Perhaps this might be of help. Go to Duggys Typhoon
page and look at some of the Kodacolor shots. If you still can't buy it,then be patient and we will get this Temp out ASAP -
Level 1According to Christopher Shores, Dark Green and Ocean Grey tended to change in hue as they were exposed to sunlight, perhaps this is the variation in colour that the photos are showing? I mean not one picture has the same colour for matched areas. Take into account the time of the aircraft was exposed to natural sun light, the time of day the photo was taken, and the oxidizing of the original photo and you could have an infinite palette to choose from to get the same 3 colours.
Call me bone-headed but I doubt that even with Emel's template I would change the colours I've used. But that's just how I do things. -
Level 1Actually scratch that last remark. I'll try to find more accurate matches to the std RAF paint colours and will see what those turn out.

Level 1Gonna send a grab Hope this might might help .
Give me a couple of minutes

10 years agoThu Jan 02 2014, 02:26amLevel 1This is very basic with no weathering,I pulled everything off the paint s It is somewhat raggady but the colors we do believe to be as accurate as possible..Still a work in progress.
All the best Christopher
