10 years agoThu Jan 02 2014, 07:59pmLevel 1Damn Right Skunk!! you Tell him.....Just kidding Detlev.
This is the real fun. This aircraft is a real toughie. A rogue.
The thing that keeps me very excited is the fact that that photo is of the only one left with original parts. There are several more (Duggy knows) but they are are a mess and it wouldn't be worth putting your money on
OK Emel Where are you? -

Oh the guy that started this Temp never finished it. He got side tracked on folks downloading Aviation books, then Maurice continued but for some reason pulled the rip chord.
Don't you love it? -
Level 1Alright. Some colour tests. These are variations that I've seen for the 3 standard RAF day camouflage colours.
Test #1. Scanned chips from the museum's paint stock.
Test #2. I got these colours from the RealAir Spitfire XIV for FSX. Its a late war bird, much like the blown hood Tiffie. If RealAir is as researched as they say it is, then they must know something here.
Test #3. These colour tones were taken from Alex Voicu's Tempest V template. He put a lot of work into his model, so I figure he must have researched the colours as well.
Test #4. This one uses the values for Dark Green, Ocean Grey and Medium Sea Grey from SimmersPaintShop's colour swatches. These are also the tones I've used for every RAF skin I've ever done, including Tempests, Mossies and Mustangs.
What are the Hex values for the colours you are using RDDR? -
Level 1Well, for you to pull this one off, only means one thing.
Ist off Skunk , take the those blues and dump them.
The envelope please. This Canadian smart ass is calling me out. Hmmm!
Momentito!!!

Oh by the way I'm a Toronto reject living in
Santa Fe New Mexico.
I would say the closest we have here would be The photo,
then the skin I put up and your Number 3

Level 1Test #5. This is what came with the template I'm using.

10 years agoThu Jan 02 2014, 10:44pmLevel 1Well what it seems is that real difference is the dark
greeney brown.
OK I must say I haven't had as much fun as this in a long time.
By the way I saw what you did with the Spiral.. Good stuff
Oh a miner announcement.
May you be number 1 to download the new Template.
You deserve it.
Emel is uploading it as I type badly. He has text and other things to do first.
Hope to hear back soon.
