Alright. Some colour tests. These are variations that I've seen for the 3 standard RAF day camouflage colours.

Test #1. Scanned chips from the museum's paint stock.


Test #2. I got these colours from the RealAir Spitfire XIV for FSX. Its a late war bird, much like the blown hood Tiffie. If RealAir is as researched as they say it is, then they must know something here.


Test #3. These colour tones were taken from Alex Voicu's Tempest V template. He put a lot of work into his model, so I figure he must have researched the colours as well.


Test #4. This one uses the values for Dark Green, Ocean Grey and Medium Sea Grey from SimmersPaintShop's colour swatches.These are also the tones I've used for every RAF skin I've ever done, including Tempests, Mossies and Mustangs.


What are the Hex values for the colours you are using RDDR?

Well, for you to pull this one off,only means one thing.

Test #5. This is what came with the template I'm using.

I was in Toronto(well, Barrie...CFB Borden to be exact) for 6 months this last year. Now I'm in Greenwood, NS, with 405 Squadron.

Well what it seems is that real difference is the dark
greeney brown.
