10 years agoAdminUnfortunately it' a widespread thing nowadays - just grabbing what is available (for free) without leaving any feedback. That's mainly why many skinners and mission builders quitted inbetween. The most comments
are made by our core group members here.

10 years agoTue May 27 2014, 11:38amMain AdminArmin, that?s exactly my impression, a very sad developement realy. that was the reason for my comment - some 150 downloads of this pack in two days but not a single comment. One guy has rated the pack with nine stars from ten without giving me a single word what he didn?t like. That?s not very constructive in my eyes.
People have to consider that all the work we share has cost us a lot of time - sparse free time, as we of course do also have a job and a family like everyone has - and it?s all for free. I have to admit that i myself don?t also reply every post or comment every upload cause sometimes i don?t know what to say and don?t want to post always "great", "wow", or "looking good" over and over again. But on the other side i also know that the only earning of a skinner or a campaign builder is the feedback from the users so i?m trying to add some kind words or feedback every now and then when recognizing very good work. It encourages a skinner to go on with his work.
I always did my campaigns and skins for myself but wanted to share them for various reasons. The biggest motivation was from the start on, to show that even dgen campaigns can be immersive and challangeing, in contrary to the stock ones and the pay addons. Watching to see that many players do have fun with it was/is an additional and large motivation for me to go on with my work.

But please, don't be discouraged and keep skinning, at least for youself and the bunch of guys around that really appreciate your work and talent ... -
10 years agoAdminI fully understand you Detlef - anyway keep on with your well work!
