Level 9... way better and more powerful than JSGME :
Total Modder by Benitomuso :

12 years agoThu May 17 2012, 02:35amLevel 1Yes, and no...
As a campaign builder I have encouraged many non-modders to try new things and implement mods for themselves that they would not otherwise have tried for fear of screwing their install.
Whichever tool is used; the point is that Players need to appreciate the core principles. Too many fail to back up properly and get into a mess further down the line with no clear exit strategy.
Total MODder is a great tool that does much more than JSGME - For 'Power Users' its the best choice.
However, clumsy and inelegant as it is, JSGME has the advantage of being easier to use for Noobs, or people who play but don't like to mod anything too complicated. What I mean is that specific combinations altering the vital Air.INI and Stationary.INIs, for example, can be more easily implemented, tested, rolled-backed and then shared with Noobs through the use of JSGME.
IMHO, from a users POV, JSGME is actually the superior tool in this regard.

12 years agoMon May 28 2012, 06:55pmLevel 1Nice screenshots....although I couldn't get it (the Corsairs in the first post) to work with UP 3.0 RC4. However, I WAS able to get it to work with HSFX 5.0.1.
EDIT: Finally got it working in UP3!
