In anticipation of the Bodenplatte map, I am doing some tests with large bomber formations.





We will probably never see any large formations of heavy bombers in the game because of performance issues, but according to my tests the kind of missions flown by medium bombers should be possible.

Missions with 24 A-20s and 16 fighters work well on my 4 year old PC. With more bombers I still get decent frame rates, but there is a noticeable slowdown.
