I had the opportunity to get this shot at the Planes of Fame show last week-end. I took about 1800 shots, still have a few to sort out.

Beautiful shots, especially the Spad armed with 1,000Lb Mk83s and rockets - looks great.

What a day you had! My eyes would have been on stalks! Great shot of the Dak, that's a new desktop favourite.

I grew up near the Parachute Regiment barracks in Aldershot (Hampshire, Southern England), where they keep a D-Day Dakota preserved as a gate guardian. She still stands at a busy intersection near the entrance. For several years I walked by, that close to it, on my way to school.

Thanks Monty, I liked the shot of the Dak also. The show was really great, I'm looking forward to the March Field Air Show tomorrow and some more pictures.

I'm planning on doing a skin for the Dakota soon.
