11 years agoFri Jun 28 2013, 05:43pmMain AdminThis week a balancing act on USS Charger
A four plane division of VMF-323 "Death Rattlers" and the P-38 photo plane swing in low toward the Kushi-Take target, a Japanese strong-point in central Okinawa. The F4U's are carrying fire-bombs and rockets. The P-38 with the photographer in the belly flies wing on the division. The target is the high peak in the background.

Level 3Just catching up on these and spotted E.B. Davis Hellcat 115 with its skull motif. As you say a cool scheme and subject of an equally cool skin by that master of P.T.O. skins, Ronnco. He even captures the white over-spray left when the masking tape was removed after spraying on the tail markings. Superb stuff, sadly he doesn't seem to be skinning these days.
Wingco.
