It looks beautiful Detlef and I know the effects are good too. Have you also tried any DBW-1916 yet? I reckon they have some fine airplanes there and it remains free.

seriously, no, i always wanted to install this mod pack, but to much things to do ... the sparse free time at the end of the year was merely enough to play some missions with RoF - but these are realy good and immersive now, i?m staying with it, want to play more missions

Well DBW 1916 is basically a one-stop pack now, courtesy of vpmedia, that simply replaces the existing #DBW1916 folder. Its then selected from the Il2 selector to launch.

I mention this because it was very fast and convenient to do, literally minutes. While RoF is much more modern, I'm still impressed with the new Il2 mods and of course we are both so familiar with those tools.
