Ladies and gentleman, I'm proud to give you the generic OD skin! I'm still working on the silver ones, but I also made the Template. I used Jarink's (Hope you don't mind, buddy) B-25 template and adapted it into a B-26 one, with some help from the creator of the mod himself, Rawners! Here are some pics of the first flight:

not going to lie bud, looks pretty freaking good for a basic-start template/skin.

I really enjoy basic templates. They're like a fresh start, without all the drama of getting rid of the white and cleaning up the lines and stuff. But... they don't have a bunch of things others have done, that make you not want to "try"

and for a B-26?!? yeah, I think I'm either a USN/USMC bomber pilot, or USAAF Medium Bomber Pilot at heart. Whoever did the mod, she looks good!

now looking at her, and the Mitchell, I think I can blame Disney's "TaleSpin" as a kid, as to why I love the twin-engine medium bombers.

I blame Pearl Harbor for my love of B-25s. Seeing a bunch of Twin engine and twin tail planes taking off a carrier when you're 4 years old, how could I not be amazed? The Marauder was made by Rawners and can be found here: http://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php?topic=17791.0
Great that you got to see a Marauder up close. In my country, there are 3 B-25s (2 in museums, 1 in an army base parking lot) but they are fairly far from where I live. The closest one is in a museum with a C-47. I've been trying to go there.

If you do download the plane, don't download the skinpack in that thread. They're poorly converted Mitchell skins. My template was made out of J's B-25 template, but with proper internals and conversions (Had to delete all windows, some panel lines and some internals). The mapping is crazy.

The main reason I did it? Look at the USA_Pink skin from the pack (Picture below).

Now look at the picture where my plane is upside down. Do you understand?

wow, I can see it without zooming in on the pictures, let alone up close... yikes!

I need to see if I have any pictures of the B-26 in the air... the only thing I can kinda critique is the oil/grime mess on her. It may not be placed exactly where it should. But other than that, looking at pics instead of an actual template (I need to stay focused on mine! ) I say she looks really good. Only thing I can spot is the "bumps" on the lower outsides of the engines... that's where the most soot is located

That is a great picture! Looks a like a Doolittle Raider, but as a B-26! A didn't do the oil stains and stuff, that was from Jarink's Template. Tell you what, I'll remove the stains and I'll give it to you or Joe to make them right, does that sound cool?
