10 years agoMon May 26 2014, 01:46amLevel 6Forever Young is one of my favorite films, so I figured I should do this. The film has Photo Fanny appear as two different birds: First as the NA-62 Prototype that the main character is testing and later as a restored warbird in a 1992 air show called "Wings of Freedom".
The first one is a skin for Riken's B-25A_Late, but it will "fit" his B-25A, B-25B, the stock B-25C-25 or the B-25D-5NC. Download here:

Have fun!

AdminGlad to see you're found a subject that interests you and you're sticking with it, good job
One thing I noticed on those latest screen shots: I haven't ever skinned the B-25 so I don't know what's possible but could the eagle's lower beak be continued on to the lower surfaces, rather than being cut off by the mapping edge as it at the moment?
HB -
Level 6I tried, but I think not. The left of the bottom comes in direct contact with the engine cowls, so it's one line wide and the stretched. I'm working on moving the noseart a little.

Level 6
-
AdminThat works much better
I just noticed two things when looking at the screen grab from the movie: 1) The demarcation between the upper and lower surface colours on the engine nacelle is lower down; and 2) it looks like the demarcation line on the fuselage is straight rather than wavy?
HB -
Level 61) You're right, gonna fix that.
2) It's a little wavy on the tail, I can work on it. -
Level 6And I failed...
-
AdminKeep at it mate, sometimes you need a lot of patience when skinning.
-
Level 6I'll try.
