I've pre-ordered BoK too. I hadn't pre-ordered BoM, but after the long list of announced changes and Jason taking over as main producer, I think the prospects of the series look much better now.

I agree, and I'm particularly enthused by Jason's intent to try to recapture the spirit of '46.

I hope they bring out something similar to the old " Ace Expansion Pack" as with Il-2 Forgotten Battles & Pacific Fighters.
So everything is under one directory.

A fair bit of money to pay out in one hit but the BoK and PTO announcements have got me more interested in the series.

The PTO scenarios are Midway and after that maybe Okinawa. Personally I would prefer the Solomons or New Guinea, but apparently the developers and especially Jason are huge carrier fans.

I hope they will add some additional maps to the Midway module, for example Wake. A game with just a single battle that lasted only a few days will certainly become boring very soon.
